After which she moved to Ireland to pursue her Master’s in Biological and Biomolecular Science at University College Dublin. She has studied mammalian stem cells, microbial cells and bioprocessing. She worked on the optimization of hydrophobin production using Pleoretus ostreatus culture during her undergraduate thesis. Her Master’s Thesis was an investigation into the tissue-specific expression of aquaporins and big brain homolog in the common bed bug. She is currently working as a research associate at NIBRT as part of the Cell Technology Group with Dr Elizabeth Matthews on the Glycoselect project in collaboration with Enterprise Ireland at NIBRT.
