NIBRT Supported Academic Programmes
NIBRT partners with universities in Ireland to deliver Masters programmes that provide an interactive and dynamic learning experience to develop the knowledge and appreciation of the conceptual and factual bases for bioprocess design and operations.
The Masters programmes also provide a thorough understanding of bioprocessing, particularly the structures, roles and experimental methods associated with biopharmaceuticals, their analysis, production methods and technology for monitoring and control of bioprocesses.
The Masters programmes can be taken on a part-time or full-time basis and distance learning options are also available. Practical sessions are delivered at NIBRT's state-of-the-art facility.
Current NIBRT Masters Programmes
This programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive grounding in critical aspects of ATMP cell therapy and quality control / quality affairs. The course will allow participants to develop the competencies and skills required to be employed in technical, quality, research and manufacturing roles within the growing ATMP industry. This MSc has a specific research focus aimed to develop and enhance emerging technologies in the ATMP cell manufacturing space.

Certificates in Science are accredited training programmes that have been designed in association with our industry partners. These programmes focus on upskilling clients on the key competencies required in biopharma manufacturing.
