NIBRT Supported Academic Programmes
NIBRT partners with universities in Ireland to deliver Masters programmes that provide an interactive and dynamic learning experience to develop the knowledge and appreciation of the conceptual and factual bases for bioprocess design and operations.
The Masters programmes also provide a thorough understanding of bioprocessing, particularly the structures, roles and experimental methods associated with biopharmaceuticals, their analysis, production methods and technology for monitoring and control of bioprocesses.
The Masters programmes can be taken on a part-time or full-time basis and distance learning options are also available. Practical sessions are delivered at NIBRT's state-of-the-art facility.

Online Masters in Biopharmaceutical Science

Certificate in Science in Biopharmaceutical Processing with NIBRT and IT Sligo
The course is offered in a fully-online manner utilising IT Sligo’s online delivery technologies which will minimise the amount of student time required to travel and attend at either IT Sligo or NIBRT. The Certificate in Science Biopharmaceutical Processing (Special Purpose Award – Level 6) has been developed in consultation with the Biopharmaceutical industry in Ireland to ensure the course offers the skill and experience that is required for this growing industry sector in Ireland. The course has been developed and is offered in conjunction with NIBRT (National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training) with all of the laboratory work taking place at their state-of-the-art training facilities in Dublin.
