Caio Henrique
Caio joined Elizabeth Topp’s group in October 2020 as a Postdoctoral Researcher. His work involves the analysis of lyophilised protein-based drugs using a variety of protein characterisation methods, with a focus on solid-state hydrogen-deuterium exchange mass spectrometry (ssHDX-MS). He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at the State University of Campinas (2011-2015) followed by a Master’s degree in Chemistry in the same university (2015-2017) in the field of bionanotechnology. In 2017, he started his PhD at University College Dublin where he specialised in the study of interactions between nanoparticles and bacterial biofilms with a focus on protein identification and characterisation.
