NIBRT Vaccine Manufacturing Webinar Series

NIBRT are delighted to launch the “NIBRT Vaccine Manufacturing Webinar Series”.

The series includes seven separate webinars which brings together leading experts in vaccine manufacturing to share their perspectives on the challenges involved in manufacturing vaccines.

Topics range from vaccine development for COVID-19 to world-wide vaccine formulation and distribution.

The webinars are presented as a series of 40-45 minute online presentations. A Q&A session will follow each presentation. There is no charge to attend the webinars, but advance registration is required.

The first webinar took place on Friday the 25th of September on the topic of “Developing vaccines for Shigella” delivered by Wendy Picking and William Picking of the University of Kansas.

The second webinar took place on Friday the 9th of October on the topic of “Vaccine development for COVID-19 as well as a specific update around progress on the molecular clamp candidate” delivered by Professor Trent Munro, a Senior Group Leader at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, The University of Queensland and Director of the NCRIS funded National Biologics Facility.

The third webinar took place on Friday the 13th of November at 14:00am IST on the topic of “Plant- based biopharmaceuticals: How to move new product candidates towards translational research and the market” delivered by Prof. Rainer Fischer a Presidential Fellow and Research Professor at Purdue University.

The fourth webinar will take place on Friday the 19th of February 2021 at 14:00pm GMT on the topic of  “Pathogen Mimicking Nanovaccine Platform Technology: A New Paradigm” by Prof Balaji Narasimhan, Iowa State University.
