About MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships

Are you interested in becoming a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow and working on your own research project focused on the challenges associated with the manufacture of biotherapeutics? Then an application to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowship call within the Horizon Europe programme in collaboration with a NIBRT Principal Investigator could be for you.

The goal of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD and who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary mobility.  

European Postdoctoral Fellowships are open to excellent researchers of any nationality who wish to engage in projects by either coming to Europe from any country in the world or moving within Europe. The standard duration of these fellowships must be between 12 and 24 months.

Eligibility criteria

At the call deadline, interested researchers must hold a PhD and have a maximum of eight years research experience since their PhD award date. They must also comply with the mobility rule, which states they should not have resided or conducted their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Ireland for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately preceding the call deadline. Researchers applying to this scheme must collaborate with their prospective NIBRT supervisor to develop an application and apply jointly with NIBRT as the host organisation.
