Dr. Diogo Peres Dos Santos

Diogo Peres Dos Santos is a Biotechnology Engineer from Diadema Brazil, who holds a Masters and PhD in Chemical Engineering  from UFSCar. During this time, he optimized and scaled up cell culture SOPs, mainly working with Mesenchymal Stem Cells, Bladder Cancer Cells, and S2 Insect Cells. After obtaining his PhD he worked for a Research Equipment Supplier and then a Veterinary Pharmaceutical Company where his work was focused in optimising bioprocess scale up and technology transfer in vaccine production. He joins the BSEL group as our Bioprocess Engineer.
