Research Spotlight: Jefferson student research projects at NIBRT

A U.S.-Ireland Partnership for an International Graduate Research Experience in Biopharmaceutical Processing

NIBRT recently hosted a group of students from the Jefferson Institute of Bioprocessing (JIB) funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) International Research Experiences for Students (IRES) program. In order to gain understanding of the biopharma industry in Ireland, the students completed a ten week research project with a NIBRT principal investigator and visited Pfizer’s Grangecastle manufacturing facility. NIBRT also arranged cultural excursions for the students and they had the opportunity to travel around Ireland to see the sights. We wish them well as they return home.
