Biography
Professor Jared Auclair is an Adjunct Principal Investigator at NIBRT and Dean of the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University, where he also serves as Director of Bioinnovation and leads executive training and biotechnology programmes in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a PhD in Biomedical Science from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, where his research focused on the molecular mechanisms of HIV-1. He completed postdoctoral research at Brandeis University, applying protein biochemistry, crystallography, and mass spectrometry to study Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
With over 20 years of experience in biotechnology, Professor Auclair’s expertise spans analytical chemistry, protein biochemistry, and regulatory science, with a focus on biopharmaceutical development and analysis. He directs the Biopharmaceutical Analysis Training Laboratory and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Center of Regulatory Excellence in Biotherapeutics, and contributes to International Council for Harmonisation training. His work brings together academia, industry, and global regulators to advance best practices and innovation in biopharmaceutical development.
