Introduction to ATMP Manufacturing
Overview
This 2-day course will be delivered onsite at the NIBRT facility.
Understanding Advanced Therapy manufacturing processes is crucial for safe, effective production and regulatory approval. This course, held at NIBRT’s Advanced Therapies Training facility, provides practical, hands-on experience with the latest technologies for manufacturing of gene therapies, CAR-T cell therapies, and stem cell therapies.
NIBRT equipment includes:
- Gene therapies: Adherent cell culture, scale-up to fixed bed or single-use suspension bioreactors, harvest, single-use chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration systems, and cryopreservation.
- CAR-T cell therapies: CAR-T cell processing, including isolation, expansion, scale-up, harvest, and cryopreservation.
- Stem cell therapies: Adherent cell culture, expansion, scale-up to fixed bed or single-use suspension bioreactors, harvest, and cryopreservation.
In addition and to facilitate deeper theoretical understanding Lectures will cover technologies, processes, and regulatory considerations for Advanced Therapy manufacturing. For more specialised training on a specific modality, explore our specialised courses which are available on request.
