NIBRT PI Dr. Radka Fahey awarded HRB funding

Congratulations to NIBRT Principal Investigator and Adjunct Associate Professor at UCD School of Medicine, Dr. Radka Fahey, on her success in securing HRB funding for an Investigator-Led Project (ILP). Her project entitled “The role of protein glycosylation in the pathogenesis of endometriosis and association with microbiome” was awarded more than €300,000 under the theme of patient-oriented research. This project will run for three years, and two post-doctoral researchers will work on the project at NIBRT. Dr. Fahey’s co-applicants are based in UCC and the University of Galway, and the project includes national and international collaborators from RSCI, UCD, MFC/NMH, University of Tartu (Estonia), Calisia University (Poland), Endometriosis Association of Ireland and Eupati PPIs.
