NIBRT Hosts Chinese Minister of Education, Dr. Huai Jingping, Strengthening Bilateral Ties in Biopharmaceutical Research and Training

NIBRT was delighted to welcome Dr. Huai Jingping, Chinese Minister of Education, for a tour of the state-of-the-art facility. 

During the visit, NIBRT CEO Darrin Morrissey provided Dr. Huai with an overview of NIBRT’s mission and notable accomplishments, setting the stage for an immersive exploration of the cutting-edge research labs. 

The visit served as a platform for fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange in the field of biopharmaceutical research and training between Ireland and China.  

NIBRT’s commitment to advancing global partnerships in the biopharmaceutical industry was showcased during the visit, emphasising the institute’s dedication to contributing to the international advancement of bioprocessing knowledge.  

NIBRT’s existing connection to China was highlighted during the visit, notably through the institute’s Global Partners program. NIBRT has been actively engaged with the Biopharmaceutical Research and Training Advisory Group (BRTAG) in Guangzhou, China. This collaboration exemplifies NIBRT’s commitment to facilitating global knowledge exchange and fostering mutually beneficial relationships with esteemed institutions worldwide.
