New publication in Cell Reports Medicine

NIBRT Principal Investigator Assoc. Prof. Colin Clarke recently published groundbreaking research in Cell Reports Medicine, in collaboration with the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut in Germany. This work, funded through the STACCATO programme, an EU-funded European Industrial Doctorate project under the Marie Sklodowska-Cure Action of Horizon2020 (grant agreement No 813453), represents a significant step forward in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The STACCATO initiative was designed to enhance upstream biopharmaceutical process development by leveraging single-cell analysis. Beyond the scientific advancements, the programme also provided intersectoral training to 11 early-stage researchers, equipping them with the expertise to drive innovation at the intersection of academia and industry. This publication highlights NIBRT’s commitment to cutting-edge research and collaboration, ensuring that the next generation of scientists and engineers are well-equipped to advance the field of biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
