QC Analytics for Antibody-Drug Conjugates
Overview
This blended course consisting of 3 mornings online followed by 2 days of practical hands-on training, provides a comprehensive introduction to the analytical quality control (QC) strategies used in the development and manufacturing of Antibody-Drug Conjugates (ADCs). Participants will explore the unique structural and functional complexities of ADCs and learn how to apply advanced analytical techniques to ensure product quality, safety, and efficacy. The course covers both theoretical foundations and practical applications, with a focus on regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
Key topics covered
- Explore the structural components and mechanism of action of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
- Become familiar with the critical quality attributes (CQAs) relevant to ADCs.
- Gain exposure to analytical techniques commonly used in ADC quality control, including chromatography, spectroscopy, and bioassays.
- Recognize key considerations in assessing drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR), aggregation, and payload stability.
- Discuss how conjugation methods may influence product heterogeneity and QC strategy.
- Develop an awareness of regulatory expectations for ADC analytical testing and release.
- Identify common challenges in ADC QC and consider general approaches to troubleshooting
Who should attend
This course is suitable for QC analysts, scientists, and technical staff working with or transitioning into antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). It’s also relevant for professionals in analytical development, manufacturing, or regulatory roles who want to broaden their understanding of ADC-specific QC practices.
What do Attendees Obtain on Completion?
An MCQ quiz will be taken at the end of the course. Attendees will receive results and a certificate of completion.
