Jamie Sheils

Jamie has a Bachelor’s degree in Nutraceuticals in Health and Nutrition from the Technological University of Dublin. After graduating in 2020, Jamie worked in the haematology lab at Tallaght University Hospital for 3 years before pursuing a Master’s degree in biotechnology at the University of Galway. As part of his MSc programme, Jamie undertook a thesis project focused on ‘’Analysing the properties of histones in Thermophiles and Psychrophiles’’. Jamie will be working on his PhD project ‘’ Designing IVT mRNAs as vaccines and therapeutics’’ over the next 4 years at NIBRT.
