James graduated from the BSc Bioscience degree at the University of Limerick in 2024. As part of his undergraduate studies, he completed an 8-month internship in the Biologics Function at APC Ltd., a biopharmaceutical research company based in Cherrywood, Co. Dublin. In collaboration with APC Ltd., James’ PhD project is to develop novel mammalian host cell systems for the production of recombinant adeno-associated viruses.
