Florian Füssl, Ph.D.
Florian Füssl obtained his MSc and his PhD from the University of Salzburg, Austria where he applied analytical chemistry approaches to study neurodegenerative diseases. 2016 he joined the Characterisation and Comparability Lab at NIBRT where he is engaged in the development of cutting-edge liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry methods for the characterization of complex therapeutic proteins such as monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and heavily glycosylated Fc-fusion proteins. More recently, he also engaged in work relating to the characterisation of intact adeno-associated viruses used for gene therapy as well as in research around the application of charge-detection mass spectrometry.
