Manufacturing of Stem Cell Therapies
Overview
This 2.5-day course at NIBRT provides essential knowledge of Stem Cell Therapy manufacturing processes for safe, effective production and regulatory approval. Held at NIBRT’s advanced therapy training facility, the course offers hands-on experience with the latest technologies for GMP manufacturing of stem cell therapies.
NIBRT equipment includes:
- Adherent cell culture, expansion, scale-up to fixed bed or single-use suspension bioreactors, harvest, and cryopreservation.
Lectures will cover technologies, processes, and regulatory considerations for Stem Cell manufacturing, ensuring participants are well-prepared for Stem Cell production.
Key topics covered
- CAR-T Cell Engineering and Production
- Regulatory and Logistical Challenges
- T Cell Collection (Apheresis) and Isolation
- Viral and Non-Viral Methods for Gene Modification
- CAR Design and Transduction Techniques (Lentiviral, Retroviral Vectors)
- Expansion and Cryopreservation of CAR-T Cells
- Quality Control in CAR-T Manufacturing, including Rapid Micro Methods
Who should attend
Operators will gain valuable hands-on experience with practical. The course’s interactive approach ensures that they can confidently apply these skills in real-world settings, improving their proficiency and troubleshooting capabilities.
Scientists and Senior Management will benefit from the visualization of complex theories and processes, bridging the gap between technical knowledge and operational practices. By seeing the theory in action, they will gain a deeper understanding of critical systems, enabling them to make more informed decisions and optimize their departments’ performance.
What do Attendees Obtain on Completion?
A competency-based assessment will be taken at the end of the course. Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
