The National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (‘NIBRT’) is a global centre of excellence, headquartered in Dublin that provides training and research solutions to the global biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector.
NIBRT arose from an innovative collaboration between University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University and the Institute of Technology, Sligo, with core funding by the Government of Ireland through Ireland’s inward investment agency, IDA Ireland.
NIBRT’s 6,500 M² facility has 90+ employees currently and houses fully operational pilot plants for biologics manufacturing training to industry and education as well as multiple research laboratories focussed on biopharmaceuticals manufacturing research.

Role Purpose
NIBRT is a world-class institute that provides training and research solutions for the bioprocessing industry. Our mission is to support the bioprocessing industry by providing a unique learning experience for trainees in an environment that replicates the most modern industrial bioprocessing facility. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Training Department in NIBRT
Key Responsibilities
- Generate QR codes and links including training assessments, training feedback and general training documentation.
- Liaise with colleagues to plan for upcoming training activities and collect and share trainee information
- Organise training activities such as room bookings, catering, printing etc
- Responding to emails and dealing with general training queries
- Prepare and collate training material/certificates/feedback
- Help with Training Department Administration
- Support training department as required and any other reasonable duty as required
Essential Criteria
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role
- Ability to be flexible, proactive and work independently to deadlines
- The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, capable of working under their own initiative as part of a busy and dynamic training team.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience and Knowledge of WordPress for website updates would be a distinct advantage
Required Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge and experience of the following is required:
– MS Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Forms, Stream etc.)
